HKFYG is committed to promoting the healthy and comprehensive development of Hong Kong's basketball industry. With the generous donation from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charitable Trust, we have partnered with EASL Future Champions, a subsidiary of the East Asia Super League (EASL), to create an international-standard 5-on-5 basketball training platform specifically for youth aged 12 to 16. Promoting Community Engagement and Cultivating Professional Elites: From the Streets to the International Stage

In addition to nurturing professional elites, this program also emphasizes community participation, ensuring that every young person who loves basketball can find a suitable platform to grow. Whether it's cultivating basic sports habits or pursuing international competitive levels, we provide comprehensive support.

Community Program – Integrating Sports into Life, Shaping Holistic Development

The Community Program encompasses district-wide basketball training, district basketball tournaments, basketball skills training camps, personal growth workshops, district basketball festivals, pop-up school tours, and professional coach training courses.

Future Champions Program – Towards the Professional and International Stage

This program primarily identifies U16 boys with exceptional basketball potential, aiming to cultivate top young players for the Hong Kong national team or as professional athletes. We will conduct rigorous selection and professional training: a large-scale selection process will be held in Kowloon and the New Territories, ultimately choosing 96 elite players to form 8 teams. Selected players will undergo eight weeks of intensive training and competition, receiving exclusive competition gear. Two teams that advance to the Supernova Cup finals will qualify for an international invitational tournament, competing against two other Future Champions overseas youth teams.
