The Future Champions Roadmap
Talent takes you far. A system takes you further. Future Champions Macau provides a clear, structured pathway for young athletes, from the first shot to the international stage.

The Development Pathway
A Systematic Approach
We believe every player's journey should have clarity, purpose, and momentum. Our four-stage pathway delivers just that: guiding athletes from local courts to international opportunities, while developing the next wave of coaches who will carry that knowledge forward.

Four Stages

1
Discover & Build Foundations
Open Community Clinics & School Outreach
We run grassroots clinics and school programs across Macau, open to all young athletes. The focus is on fundamentals, fun, and fostering a love for the game.
Train the Trainers
Alongside player development, we invest in local coaches through our Train the Trainers program, updating them on modern teaching standards and equipping them to build strong fundamentals in the next generation.

2
Develop & Compete
8-Week Elite Training
Top U15 male players are selected through tryouts to form 4 teams of 10. Over 8 weeks, each team trains twice per week. In addition, each week will end with a weekend session where all four teams compete to establish a weekly ranking and collect individual statistics. This stage is about intensity, repetition, and real competition, pushing players to grow individually and as a team.

All-Star Tournament
Top performers from each region will also be selected to participate in an All-Star Tournament taking place in Hong Kong from July 24-26, where they can compete and train with EASL Future Champions teams from Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR. Some will even have the opportunity to meet and interact with an internationally recognized basketball player, gaining direct insight from a true professional.

This stage is about exposure, adaptation, and offering real opportunities to get in contact with people who can make an impact on professional careers.
